Working on upcoming video

Update to this post: The video will be delayed. The study is larger than originally anticipated and will require more time.

I thought it best to let everyone know what I am doing right now. I temporarily put aside the website until the video is completed. I will pass new comments a little later. Keep them coming!

The video should be completed in January. Most of the research is already done and a little of the video.

What’s it about?

Many have been prompted to research the signs in the heavens at the birth of Christ because the Bible refers to the star of the Magi. There are things I could add to this, however, I will focus on the signs at the ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ.

Few have explored celestial signs at His resurrection in-depth and yet the Bible refers to the greatest sign in heaven to have happened at that time — when the sun darkened without it being an eclipse. That’s a much greater sign than at His birth. Also, Jesus refers to future signs in the heavens at His Second Coming.

My thinking goes like this:

Why wouldn’t God reveal His Son in the Sun, Moon, and stars in great detail at the most important years in human and celestial history?

When you read the Gospels, much of it has to do with bearing witness to Christ in some way or another. To be consistent, the Sun, Moon, and stars must be included.

If there were no signs — no witness from the heavens that today we can refer to —  then it is reasonable to assume that Jesus is not the Messiah.

Why should we believe men from 2000 years ago if God Himself made no effort to declare Him at that time by means of the Sun, Moon, and stars?

After all, that’s their stated purpose at Creation.

Then God said, “Let there be light-bearers (sun, moon, stars) in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be useful for signs (tokens) [of God’s provident care], and for marking seasons, days, and years; (Gen. 1:14 Amplified version)

The Witness of the Sun, Moon, and Stars

I do not know what mysterious event occurred at noon when Christ died — when the Sun at Passover (full moon) darkened without an eclipse. We may never know that. But the fact that it did occur should prompt us to look for lesser heavenly signs that we can verify.

Today, with astronomy software, we can analyze the heavens with greater accuracy and ease than if we lived at that time. We have a great advantage over those of that time.

(This does not hold true for comets. Whatever comets passed by at that time we can only know by what observers tell us at that time — if they even recorded it.)

Thirty years of research into Biblical chronology, calendrical studies, and codes uniquely aid in helping resolve some perplexing problems. The signs in the heavens aid in chronology, but as we shall see, the signs at the time are more interested in telling His story than conquering the mountain of specificity as to exactly when He ministered on earth.

Yes, the signs do aid in chronology, but clearly, that’s not their main purpose.

They are there to witness to Him.

And that they do in abundance!

Please pray for me. I sense God’s help in the matter. But pray that I complete what I started and that it points may to the Saviour.

God bless you all.

(I may post about the signs in a series of short posts, so keep in touch. If so, the videos and posts may come sooner than later.)
