Enoch’s prophecy of ten 490-year periods

Before discussing Enoch’s prophecy of the seven epochs of 490 years each that span from Creation to Christ, it is important to understand the significance of the Book of Enoch in modern times.

The timing of the renewed interest in the book of Enoch with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947 is significant. It anticipates the repeat of the sin of the Watchers.

Footnote: The "Watchers" is a general designation for a certain class of high ranking angels. They "watch" over men and the cosmos to make sure that order is maintained, and then report back to God. However, some 20 of these rebelled, along with another 180 under their authority, "200 hundred in all" (Enoch 6:6). The final total who rebel is one million, as deduced from the hierarchy of Enoch 69:3 with 6:8, i.e., 20*10*50*100.
What was the sin of the Watchers?

“In the days of Jarod” (Enoch’s father), these angels mixed their DNA with men, animals, and plants. This resulted in giant men and monstrous creatures. This was the main reason why God sent the flood of Noah. A new creation was needed,  a reset, because, except for Noah, all men had corrupted their way upon the earth.

Jesus said:

“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” Matt. 24:37

This mixture of men and animals is happening again today and is being weaponized. God’s warning from the book Enoch applies to today because sin is the same today, and so are the consequences. Indeed, the very first verse of Enoch claims to be a message for our day, i.e., “for those living in the day of tribulation” (Enoch 1:1.)

Order and Chaos

However, there is another reason why the book of Enoch is important for these last days. And that reason is found in the verse immediately following the place where Jude quotes from in the New Testament.

“Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

Jude 1:14-15

Let us continue reading from the Book of Enoch, the next verse (addressed to the fallen angels)…

“Observe ye everything that takes place in the heaven, how they do not change their orbit, and the luminaries which are in the heaven, how they all rise and set in order each in its season, and transgress not against their appointed order. … but ye–ye have not been steadfast, nor done the commandments of the Lord…”

Enoch 2:1, 4a

In other words, Enoch’s book says that the orderliness of God’s creation testifies to their disorder (“transgression”). They are without excuse.

Footnote: Compare this with Romans 1:18-32, "Therefore they are without excuse, because since the creation of the world...etc." Likely the Apostle Paul had Enoch 1-7 in mind here as evident by his stress on sexual transgression. Also see the Book of Jude.
An orderly creation testifies to the following:
  1. That these Watchers have transgressed (i.e., they have caused chaos in God’s orderly universe)
  2. The 364-day calendar is God’s clear testimony to men and angels of divine order. Moreover, it points to the day of their doom and is marked on the calendar.
  3. An orderly creation testifies that God’s children will eventually rule over their enemies, as surely as day follows night

And in keeping with the theme of an orderly cosmos, the Book of Enoch prophesies that the Enochic calendar (“workings of the cosmos”) would be fully revealed at the end of the seventh cycle of “seventy weeks.” The seven cycles of 490 years seem to complete their course twice: at the First and Second Coming of the “Son of Man” (Enoch 93:9-14; cf., Daniel 9).

Sevenfold light is promised

“And after that in the seventh week (i.e., a “week” of generations of 70 years, see verse 3)… at its close shall the elect… receive sevenfold instruction concerning all His creation.

Enoch 93:10-14

Enoch’s prophecy of the “sevenfold light” was fulfilled when Jesus first came through his apostles and prophets. It seems logical that this prophecy will be fulfilled a second time, not as a foundation but as an expansion of what was revealed first. One thing that was reserved until these last days is an understanding of the cosmic order, which is now being revealed to both secular men through science and Christ’s servants through the revelation of Christ as revealed in an orderly cosmos.

Cosmic Clock of Prophetic Potentials

The heavens function as a cosmic clock, keeping track of the passage of time using complex cycles and rhythms. Like the many hands of a watch, these rhythms have been and continue to track every event recorded in the Bible and world history. All events occur orderly in conjunction with the sun, moon, and stars, demonstrating a non-random universe.

Biblical events tend to cluster along the scaffold of these rhythms, like the skeleton upon which the flesh hangs. These rhythms in time act like gravity, inexorably pulling all things towards God’s master plan and the written destinies of both men and angels without impeding free will.

While this does not make future events easily predictable, it does mean that the probability of major events occurring is predictable, as is the type of event. By analogy, crucial events occur in history in proportion to how ‘dense’ the invisible filaments of the universe are. Or, to use another metaphor, they increase according to the loudness of the overlapping chimes on God’s cosmic clock. New chapters in redemptive history unfold at these peak moments along God’s timeline.

The pattern may be evident in hindsight, but it is murky beforehand when events are merely potentials, even if they are highly probable. Only God knows the end from the beginning, as He is the Beginning and the End.

Chart of “Seventy generations of 70 years” of the Book of Enoch, the key to all other chronologies

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Book-Enoch-70-generations-100-jubilees-template-to-all-chronologies-1260-Christ.jpg

The chronologies of Luke and Matthew are simply variations of the Book of Enoch (as is Genesis in the MT, LXX, SP with the “Key of 23“. This even includes the Tablets of Sumer!)

“…Adam, the son of God”, Luke 3:38.

Adam was created at age 70, as implied: “You shall die in the day that you eat from the tree,” that is 70 + “930” = 1000 years. (“A day is as 1000 yrs.”)

Apparently, Luke understood this extra “70 years” as a foreshadowing of the pre-incarnate Christ who came ’77 generations later. However, Matthew counts three sets of “14 generations” to Abraham (and stops). Thus, Abraham is born in 2876 BC, which is ‘490 x 2’ to the Abraham of Book of Enoch (1896 BC).

(Note: Matthew overlaps the generation of the exile to alternatively allow a rounded 40 generations to Christ.)

Matthew and Luke trace their genealogies through Judah’s line, not Levi’s, so the Conquest of Canaan occurs three generations later. (See “Nahshon” in Wiki.).

Footnote: See note in the chart about the seven-days/years of creation, and its effects on the chronology.

In the Book of Jubilees, both Cain and Abel are born when Adam was 70 and 77 years of age, (Bk Jub 4:1). The fall of man occurred "seven years exactly" after creation, (Jub 3:7).

Luke likely had a similar notion about the fall of man because from the pre-incarnate "Son of God" unto the fall of man adds up to 77 years. This is likely why Luke records 77 generations unto the redemption of man from the original transgression -- a year for each generation, similar to the Bk. of Enoch.

Many manuscript fragments of both the Book of Jubilees and Enoch were found in the Dead Sea Scrolls that date to the period just before Luke and prove that such concepts well known to scholars of that time period. Interestingly, the final 12th cave of Qumaram was discovered 70 years after the initial discovery of the other eleven caves, 77 generations after 3366 BC, etc. Also count cycles of 483-solar years ("490 yrs" of 360 days). See "Key of 23".

3366 BC less 3360 years = 6 BC, and 3360 is itself ten priestly years of 336 days! (See Luke 1:5)

Enoch’s Prophetic Outline: Pre-Creation to Christ (70 gen.), and 30 more to the “Appearing of the New Heaven”

You can read the prophecy of Enoch at this link: Book of Enoch 91-93. Note the odd way that the last three cycles of 490 years appear out of order in the narrative before the other seven cycles! This strongly hints at the importance of the internal three-plus-seven and seven-plus-three patterns.

Enoch utilizes idealistic generations of 70 years, which he says is symbolic of just one day. Therefore one day equals 70 years. (Compare to Daniel 9.)

The parallels between the Book of Enoch and the Bible are self-explanatory. The following is meant to be an aid to the chart.

Enoch 91-93(One day equals seventy years)

“In the 1st week”: 7 generations (i.e., “7 days”) span from “God” to Enoch’s birth (or from Adam to Enoch’s ascension). “I (Enoch) was born the seventh (day/generation) in the first week…” Enoch 93:3. The chart has seven gen. to his birth, as does Luke 3:37,38, likely the traditional understanding.

“In the 2nd week”: 7 gen. from Enoch to Noah’s Flood and “Cainan” of Luke 3:36, inclusive. (Notice ref. to Noahide Laws. See Bk of Jub 7:20-28.)

“In the 3rd week”: 7 gen. from Shelah to Terah, incl. (“The plant of righteousness,” 93:5, is Abraham, elected at birth through Terah at “70”, Gen 11:26-27. Compare to Enoch. One can instead begin from Creation unto Abraham incl., but in this chart, we follow the path of Luke that begins at “God.” The omission of LXX Cainan has the same effect.)

“In the 4th week”: 7 gen. from Abraham to Moses of the Exodus/Tabernacle/Conquest, incl.

“In the 5th week”: 7 gen. from Moses to King David, incl. (David prepared for the temple in every way, but it was built 3.5 yrs into his son’s reign. Both the Bible and Enoch accredit the temple indirectly to David, 1Chron 22-29. David lived “70 yrs”, 2Sam. 5:4.)

“In the 6th week”: 7 gen. from Solomon to the 70-yr exile, incl. or excl., the Book of Enoch is ambiguous.

“In the 7th week”: 7 gen. from the exile unto Messiah. The prophesied, “sevenfold increase of light” (of revelation) is revealed to an apostate people full of dead works. (The Messiah is here called “The Eternal Plant of Righteousness.”) The “70 weeks” of Daniel 9 is the 7th “week” of Enoch 93:9-14. However, Enoch’s scale is 70 times larger than Daniel’s: In Enoch, a day equals 70 years rather than just one year.

“In the 8th week”: 7 gen. (Enoch 91)

“In the 9th week”: 7 gen. (Enoch 91)

“In the 10th week”: 7 gen. (Enoch 91)

Countdown of 490s, this time from the Exodus until now

A general parallel exists between the events listed in Enoch’s prophecy, starting from the Exodus and continuing to the present day.

Looking at the prophecy of seven weeks (or generations) in the Book of Enoch, starting from the Exodus instead of from creation, we can see that 70 weeks of 70 years have passed from Moses to the present. This means that the 40 years between the Exodus and when Israel entered the Promised Land (1446-1406 BC) plus 3430 more years to the present day equals AD 1985 to 2025.

(A generation can be 40, 70, or 100 years in the Bible. However, in the Book of Enoch, it is logically 70 years. The number seven dominates the book.)

Footnote: "Plant of Righteousness"
Compare the third "week" with the seventh in Enoch's prophecy. They both refer to the "Plant of Righteousness" and their seed/elect. This has the effect that what is said about Abraham can also be true of Jesus. And the parallel is not by accident, for the prophecy about Abraham also goes on to prophecy about Abraham's seed, the Messiah.
"After that in the third week at its close...a man shall be elected (i.e., Abraham), and his posterity shall become the plant of righteousness for evermore," (93:5).
And the above statement is explicitly said to be fulfilled at the end of the seventh "week", where the "posterity" of Abraham is again called, "The Eternal Plant of Righteousness," (93:10, cf., 10:15) upon whom the elect "hang" (38:2).

Note the predominance of multiples of seven, as well as the solar year of 365 and half-364 (“182”). “22 x 182” equals a solar cycle of 11 years. All are Enochian timeframes. Both “25920” (2160 x 12) and “25800 (2150 x 12)” are One Year of Precession of the Stars. The drifting of stars off their circular course is a major conundrum in the Book of Enoch.

  1. What year was the judgment on the angels? 70×70 If 4900 years is the time of lock-up; and the End of the Fig Tree generation or Rebirth of Israel generation is 70 Year but adding 10 to the 80th year. 1948 to 2028. May 14th, 2029 would be the end of them being 80. Pslams 90:10.
I have a study that says the judgment began in the Year 1110 of man. Others say it was 2900 BC.+ 1100 would end 4000 years; Perfect. What about the additional 10 years 2017-18 was 6000 years and also 120th Jubilee. “As the days of Noah Replica”. 600 and 120. Jesus said the Generation would not pass before He comes on a cloud. We are on the 7 year of Jubilee 120. The flood began 7 days later. 2028 would put us at the end of the fig tree generation. Those locked-up angels are due release in 2028 Before Yom Kippur. Psalms 90:10 appears to be perfect.

    • 2025 AD is 70 jubilees from when Israel entered the Promised Land in 1406 BC, when the jubilees officially began.
But the whole subject is so vast that I personally spends most my time studying past patterns rather than attempting to project into the future.

  2. There are many interpretations of when the 70th year Jubilee will occur and the 70th week timeline. However just for my better understanding, will the tribulation start after the 70th Jubilee or will it conclude at the 70th Jubilee? Also what are your thoughts on the coming asteroid Apophis due to impact the earth on April 13, 2029. It’s supposed to be the size I think of 3 football fields. Some are saying this is “the sign” in the sky before the son of man comes in the clouds in Matthew 24. The asteroid date is also supposedly 3.5 yrs after the feast of tabernacles -the last trump before the herold (sign) before Christ comes (rapture).

    • Thanks for your question.
While there may be many opinions about 70 jubilees, one thing that’s for sure: the great majority of scholars (evangelical) now accept 1406 BC as the date of the Conquest, which is the official start of the jubilees, and that the majority of scholars also agree with the plain text of the Bible that a jubilee is 7 x 7 years. Hence, 70 jubilees come to AD 2025. Many have notions based upon merely a few months or years of research, whose views spread out because they happen to have a loud megaphone. However, it is not their lifelong study and so their views only confuse.

We all like complex things simplified. We like it black and white. But the fact is there are many possible paths God may take when the final Shemita (seven years) unfolds. It can be before or after the 70th, or perhaps in between. Moreover, the “time, times, and half-a-time” interweave so that different themes follow different timelines so as to interact with one another. Many times in the past the “seven-years” has played out in various ways, foreshadowing the final climax. By spending much time studying the math of the foreshadows one soon realizes the infinite possibilities of the climactic final fulfillment. And this is why “no man knows the day or the hour”.

About Apophis: I wrote about Apophis in-depth in early 2007. My main point of that article is the timing of the announcement that there was a 2.7 percent chance of Apophis hitting the earth coincided with the great tsunami that killed 300,000 people, as a warning of what would be even worse if an asteroid ever hit the ocean. I also speak about another heavenly sign that occurred at the same time in Saggitarius.
      I wrote:

“”Apophis is a near-Earth asteroid that caused a brief period of concern on December 25-27, 2004, because initial observations indicated a relatively large probability (up to 2.7%) that it would strike the Earth in 2029. Additional observations provided improved predictions that eliminated the possibility of an impact on Earth or the Moon in 2029.”

(Sagittarius-Dec. 27-2004—Blast.) 1,260,000 days from the Exodus in 1446 BC. The day, in turn, symbolized the ‘year’ when Israel entered Egypt 430 years, 1876 BC. An incredible display of numerics and perfect timing! The code reads: “Did He miss the mark? No!” A perfect bows-eye by Sagittarius, who aims at the scorpion (Scorpio)!

At the same time, the great Tsunami struck (Dec. 26), and also the greatest pulse from a starburst ever recorded by far. A most unusual and powerful event. But in this document, we look at Apophis.

Apep (Apophis) was the god of darkness and chaos in Egypt and was seen as a giant snake, crocodile, serpent, or in later years, in a few cases, like a dragon. (God is bringing the gods of Egypt in judgment again, as he did when the Israelites left Egypt 1260 x 1000 days before this — to the very day!) “

I this article I mainly write about its meaning numerically and thematically. However, I see it as a warning rather than the real deal, and I have not changed my mind.

As early as a few years ago I briefly refer to Apophis and display a prophetic image of a meteor striking the mountain. Actually, the Lord has revealed this warning many times. For example, see the sign of the meteor striking the moon during the blood-moon eclipse an hour after posting a prophetic image of the same.
Meteor in the shape of a skull at top of a mountain just below the sun and moon as they eclipse

But I repeat, I do not have a witness in my spirit that Apophis is anything other than a warning of some unknown meteor in the future striking the earth.

  3. The calendar of Enoch works only with a intercalary year on every 4th year.
    364 + 364 + 364 + 369 on the intercalary year, in order to stay in sync,
with the 4 years of the the Solar cycle of 1,461 days.
The calendar of God works with an intercalary year of 381 days
    360 +360 +360 +381 = 1,461 days
The Gregorian works with an intercalary of 1 day per 4 years,
    365 + 365 + 365 + 366 = 1,461 days.

    • Interesting way of approaching it. However, both fail to accomplish the fundamental problem of maintaining symmetry. The 364 calendar emphasizes time as divided into even weeks which your addition of 5 days destroys, and the 360 puts an emphasis on months of 30 days with your addition of 21 days destroys.

      But still, interesting, though wrong.

  4. Question,
4900 years = 100 x 7 x 7, Leviticus 25:8, And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
Jubilee years are 50 year increments. So 98 Jubilees also = 4900 years.
    49 x 50 = 2450 { Sabbath x Jubilee }
So in 2450 years from day 1 Sabbath and Jubilee would be the same day.
Is there a special name for this day?
    And as a coincidence 2450 x 2 = 4900.

    • I appreciate this observation. In my estimation, perhaps “the year of our Lord’s passion” is a good name for the year 4900 AM (i.e., the beginning of the 50 hundredth year, being 30-130 AD). I think that is the year that the entire elect race (those who truly are brought to enter by faith into the “Sabbath” rest in Christ) obtained in Christ, the legal basis of freedom from our sin debt. This is upon the supposition that 4870 BC was the beginning of time. The year 7000 AM (AD 2130) would also be a major date within this same line of thought, but I should add that it seems likely to me (based on other certain Scriptural considerations) that the vast majority of people living right now (2022) in the west will meet their maker between now and 2044. The important thing is that we be found washed from our sins in Christ, not having our own righteousness (as concerning our justification), but having his righteousness imputed to us through our receiving of him by faith.
Concerning Sanctification (and on another topic), I would like to maintain a testimony against any supposed “images of God” whatsoever:

The Westminster Larger Catechism on the second commandment.
      Q. 107. Which is the second commandment?

      A. The second commandment is, Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

      Q. 108. What are the duties required in the second commandment?

      A. The duties required in the second commandment are, the receiving, observing, and keeping pure and entire, all such religious worship and ordinances as God has instituted in his Word; particularly prayer and thanksgiving in the name of Christ; the reading, preaching, and hearing of the Word; the administration and receiving of the sacraments; church government and discipline; the ministry and maintenance thereof; religious fasting; swearing by the name of God, and vowing unto him: as also the disapproving, detesting, opposing, all false worship; and, according to each one’s place and calling, removing it, and all monuments of idolatry.

      Q. 109. What are the sins forbidden in the second commandment?

      A. The sins forbidden in the second commandment are, all devising, counseling, commanding, using, and anywise approving, any religious worship not instituted by God himself; tolerating a false religion; the making any representation of God, of all or of any of the three persons, either inwardly in our mind, or outwardly in any kind of image or likeness of any creature: Whatsoever; all worshiping of it, or God in it or by it; the making of any representation of feigned deities, and all worship of them, or service belonging to them; all superstitious devices, corrupting the worship of God, adding to it, or taking from it, whether invented and taken up of ourselves, or received by tradition from others, though under the title of antiquity, custom, devotion, good intent, or any other pretense: Whatsoever; simony; sacrilege; all neglect, contempt, hindering, and opposing the worship and ordinances which God has appointed.

      Q. 110. What are the reasons annexed to the second commandment, the more to enforce it?

      A. The reasons annexed to the second commandment, the more to enforce it, contained in these words, For I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments; are, besides God’s sovereignty over us, and propriety in us, his fervent zeal for his own worship, and his revengeful indignation against all false worship, as being a spiritual whoredom; accounting the breakers of this commandment such as hate him, and threatening to punish them unto divers generations; and esteeming the observers of it such as love him and keep his commandments, and promising mercy to them unto many generations.

  5. So let me get this straight. You left out 3 entire weeks to Enochs prophesy, then justify it by saying “I didnt want to over complicate things”?

    • Yep!

Note to reader: Study the chapters in Enoch to do with this prophecy for yourself and judge for yourself whether my analysis is obviously correct. Also, you will see why the extra three weeks (490 x 3 years) in the text appear out of order and may have been a later addition to Enoch.

I never claim that Enoch is inspired like the Bible, only that it contains things that are true, but not everything. The Bible is the touchstone that tests all things.

Sounds like a touched a nerve, Matthew!

      • I’m a bit confused. Read quite a bit of your stuff on this matter, and it seems you had several starting points in your calculations. To me, it seems the concept of Jubilee began when they entered their Promised Land. You have that as one of your begin dates, but you also mention the Crusades and Jesus’ first Advent. You might have others, but at this point it’s become a blur. I can’t understand why, when 2025 is such a strong date for your theory, that you don’t expound on the estimated dates of Christ’s return/rapture. Congrats on your work. Will stay plugged in and keep digging.

        • The commencement of the Jubilee was officially marked with Israel’s entry into the Promised Land, as you have mentioned. However, the measurement of distances between significant events also employs Jubilees as a standard unit of measurement. For instance, the Flood, occurring in 2458-2456 BC, establishes a new reference point, spanning 49 x 50 years to the birth of Christ around 6 BC. Therefore, when we adopt the ancient practice of measuring time in units of 49 years, as documented in the Book of Jubilees, we account for 50 Jubilees. Nonetheless, the year 1406 BC is recognized as the definitive starting point in accordance with the Law of Moses.

  6. Hello, can i ask something about what happening today that can link about fulfilled in the Prophecy of Enoch. Sorry about my english grammar .

  7. Direct from Enoch
And Enoch began to recount from the books and said:

‘ I was born the seventh in the first week,

While judgement and righteousness still endured.

4 And after me there shall arise in the second week great wickedness,

    And deceit shall have sprung up;

And in it there shall be the first end.

    And in it a man shall be saved;

And after it is ended unrighteousness shall grow up,

And a law shall be made for the sinners.

And after that in the third week at its close

A man shall be elected as the plant of righteous judgement,

And his posterity shall become the plant of righteousness for evermore.

6 And after that in the fourth week, at its close,

Visions of the holy and righteous shall be seen,

And a law for all generations and an enclosure shall be made for them.

7 And after that in the fifth week, at its close,

The house of glory and dominion shall be built for ever.

8 And after that in the sixth week all who live in it shall be blinded,

And the hearts of all of them shall godlessly forsake wisdom.

    And in it a man shall ascend;

And at its close the house of dominion shall be burnt with fire,

And the whole race of the chosen root shall be dispersed.

9 And after that in the seventh week shall an apostate generation arise,

And many shall be its deeds,

And all its deeds shall be apostate.

10 And at its close shall be elected

The elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness,

To receive sevenfold instruction concerning all His creation.

11 [For who is there of all the children of men that is able to hear the voice of the Holy One without being troubled ? And who can think His thoughts ? and who is there that can behold all the works 12 of heaven ? And how should there be one who could behold the heaven, and who is there that could understand the things of heaven and see a soul or a spirit and could tell thereof, or ascend and see 13 all their ends and think them or do like them ? And who is there of all men that could know what is the breadth and the length of the earth, and to whom has been shown the measure of all of them ? 14 Or is there any one who could discern the length of the heaven and how great is its height, and upon what it is founded, and how great is the number of the stars, and where all the luminaries rest ?]

    [Chapter 91]

12 And after that there shall be another, the eighth week, that of righteousness,

And a sword shall be given to it that a righteous judgement may be executed on the oppressors,

And sinners shall be delivered into the hands of the righteous.

13 And at its close they shall acquire houses through their righteousness,

And a house shall be built for the Great King in glory for evermore,

14d And all mankind shall look to the path of uprightness.

14a And after that, in the ninth week, the righteous judgement shall be revealed to the whole world,

b And all the works of the godless shall vanish from all the earth,

c And the world shall be written down for destruction.

15 And after this, in the tenth week in the seventh part,

There shall be the great eternal judgement,

In which He will execute vengeance amongst the angels.

  8. Question.

Have you actually read the book of Enoch. If so, you must have missed week 8, 9 and 9.

And they are not 490 days–they are 1000 day for each of the 10–not 7, weeks

    • Hi,
Yes I am fully aware of that, but did not wish to overcomplicate things. You will notice that weeks 8-10 are out of order. They occur before the other seven. This is likely because they are a later addition to the text.

However, God is sovereign either way. It happens that both ten weeks and seven weeks are true. In time I will explain all that, the Lord willing.

4900 and 3430 years are indeed both very significant and tie-in together perfectly. But as I said, I have learned that if one overcomplicates something, fewer bother to read the post in this age of instant gratification.

If you go to my 360calendar.com converter you will see that the Egyptian calendar is about 4900 years and this period represents a pivotal date in the Sumerian Kings List. Please see https://1260d.com/2017/09/29/moses-rod-swallows-sumerian-king-list/ for the exact dates.

But the reality is, I think, that the extra three “weeks” are a later addition. I speculate that they were added when things did not end on the seventh week as anticipated, and so a few more “weeks” were added. The book of Enoch is not inspired in the same sense as the rest of the Bible and is clearly the result of numerous editorial additions. Ascertaining what belongs to the original Enoch is always tentative at best.

      • this 3 weeks are the 21 added days to the calendar of god that synchronize it to the solar year
        48 x 30 = 1440 + 21 = 1461. there are 1461 days in a 4 year period. in Gods calendar 48 months = 1440 days the 49th month[ the intercalary month } is the 21 days.

      • I appreciate your opinion but I have to disagree with anyone’s assertion that the books of Enoch are not inspired! I think it would be beneficial to actually put the magnifying glass on who it was that removed those books to create the so-called inspired book which is called the Canon Bible. I much prefer to read entire scripture of that was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls and judge it for yourself. Not insult anyone but I’m afraid it would be somewhat foolish to consider that Enoch was not inspired. After all he was of the Seventh Generation and he also was raised. There is no evidence or record of his death. It says nowhere he died and the age at his death. This is pretty much a theme throughout the Canon Bible. There is also scripture that states not to add or take away or change. There are great consequences that follow. So for me whoever removed those many books not just Enoch but Ezra jubilees Etc have hell to pay. Appreciate you allowing people to voice their opinion and also learn from the post. Only wanting scriptural truth

        • Ethiopians, with their original bible, would agree with you, I think. I always tend to shy away from anything the Roman Catholics may have had a hand in, regardless of the date of their involvement.

          • Thank you for your comment. That’s a fair assessment. However, we must be cautious not to reject truth just because it comes from an unexpected source. Remember, the devil quoted scripture when tempting Jesus in the desert.
