An important note was added today to the posts about the Enoch Calendar at…
Below is the added note…
364-days: The Calendar of Reconciliation
The Book of Enoch, the Book of Jubilees, other extra-biblical literature of that time period, and to a lesser extent, the Bible, all utilize a year of 364-days.
But why 364?
It’s because 364 is divisible by weeks (seven), as well as its four seasons (91 x 4 = 364). It’s the Calendar of Reconciliation because it reconciles “seven” (the number for perfection) and “13” (the number for rebellion and failure), (7 x 13 = 91). And this reconciliation is universal, which is what 4, 40, 400, etc., symbolizes, as in “the four corners of the earth”, (4 x 13 x 7 = 364).
However, 364 is short of an exact (but slowly decreasing) solar year of 365.24218967.
And so, the question arises: How do we reconcile 364 with a true solar year of 365.2425?
What is the best method of doing this without disturbing the integrity of unending cycles of perfection (weeks)?
This is the holy grail of most cultures from time immemorial — reconciling 4, 7, and 13 in a presumed orderly universe.
Hopeless you say?
There are Two Fundamental Methods of Calendar Intercalation:
The year is scrutinized every spring (non-mechanized)’ and the other, ‘Adjustments are worked out many years ahead of time (mechanized)’
Different people groups, including Jews, throughout ages, add leap months to their lunar calendars when it lags behind the Spring Equinox by more than a month (or some other similar methodology). This is the ‘non-mechanized’ method. It works best for non-dispersed, united people.
However, other people groups, such as the Babylonians and post-exilic Jews utilize a mechanized approach, valid no matter where one lives on earth. Both mechanized and non-mechanized methods usually have the same outcome.
In the same way as the lunar calendar, the Enochian Calendar is adjusted to the true solar year using either method.
Therefore, there are two ways of calculating leap weeks for the Enochian Calendar:
1. (Non-mechanized) A decision is made every spring
A leap week is added when the 364-day year lags behind the Spring Equinox by more than a week. This is a valid method and works well for non-dispersed, united people.
2. (Mechanized) A method is devised for all time
The remainder of this post explains the two best methods (mechanized) of intercalating leap weeks for all time: The Shmita/Jubilee method and the 40-year generational method.
Both are compatible. There are other methods. But after much study, these two are the best and the ones most likely reflected in the Bible and other extra-biblical literature.
Keep in mind that our goal is not to create calendars to live by.
Our purpose is to analyze patterns produced by the 364-Calendar that gave rise to the symbolic meaning of numbers in the Bible.
Footnote: The Essenes (of the Dead Sea Scrolls) likely used one of these two methods, but we cannot be sure. However, in this study, we care little about what the Essenes practiced, but rather what the Bible, the Book of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees say or imply.
The Shmita/Jubilee Method
A Shmita is a seven-year period of rest commanded upon the land in the Bible. The Jubilee is seven Shmitas, for a total of 49 years. Thus, in 490 years there are ten jubilees.
Add a leap week every seven years (2548 + 7 days).
Every jubilee, add 3 weeks — with the exception of 3 out of every ten jubilees (490), where just 2 weeks are added. Thus, 490 years has 178969 days, (an average year of 365.2428571 days).
490 Gregorian years is also 178969 days. Thus, seven of Daniel’s “70 weeks” have 2569 days, and 2569 is also 7 lunar years. 2569 is also ‘1260 + 1260 + 49′ and links the 49 days to Pentecost, John 20:22. Moreover, “1260” (Rev. 12:6) in conjunction with 1274 (with optional 1 to 3 leap weeks) is immensely compatible with the week of Passover and Tabernacles. Each lasts 7 days and begins 7 days after the 7 days of Creation (1st & 7th month, 15th to 21st day incl.). Dan. 10:1-4 simply divides the week’, Dan. 9:27.
Moreover, 490 x 360 (176400) plus “2569” equals “178969 days” and “176400” is 525 priestly cycles, (336 x 525). This demonstrates the harmony between the 336, 360, 364, 365, and 365.2425-day year — as well as a lunar and 361-day year.
Compare all the above to Dan. 9:24-10:4.
The 364-Cal. Jubilee New Year begins 1406 BC, Wed., Julian day #1207977.75 unto #2460760.75 in AD 2025. “3”, “7” & “10” are all numbers that symbolize completion.
Footnote: 2025-2032 AD is 7 x 490 from the Conquest of Canaan (1406-1399 BC), and 7 x 364 (plus 2 or 3 weeks of years) from 538 BC, (the return to Promised Land). Ponder that!
Tom Horn’s Book “Praise for Zeitgeist 2025. Countdown to the secret destiny of America”
I purchased Tom Horn’s book today to locate the reference material needed to back up his assertions about the “Essenes” and the “50-year jubilee”, and the year “2025-2075”, but found none. This was as expected because I knew that it cannot be true because that would contradict the Book of Jubilees, the Book of Enoch, and the Bible for that matter. As expected, Tom’s book was a mix of material that wrongly adjoined its assertions to the Essenes and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Ironically, it’s the Pharisees, the very enemy of the Essenes, that invented both the 50-year jubilee (instead of 49) and the Creation date of 3925/3924 BC as explained in the below two posts:
- “Sabbath year” is at hand! Jew & Gentile “One new Man” August 6, 2021
- Reconciling time with the key of 23 October 2, 2020
The “Key of 23” was written before Tom began researching his book.
As said in the above posts, the Lord has reconciled the 50-year jubilee with the actual and all chronologies, which includes the chronology of Pharisees (the Seder Olam) that places the 120th jubilee (of 50 years) on 2025-6 unto 2075-6 AD, but which Tom apparently ascribes to their enemies — the Essenes of Qumram!
Anyone who has read the Book of Jubilees knows that a jubilee is 49 years throughout the book! And the Book of Enoch, though less overt, suggests the same. And then there’s Daniel 9.
Please read the Book of Jubilees for yourself, and also the Book of Enoch in reference to cycles of seven “weeks“. The entire lengthy book of Jubilees is based upon 50 jubilees of 49 years from Creation to the Conquest (1406 BC), (which incidentally amounts to 120 jubilees to 2025! But that’s 120 jubilees of 49 years — not 50!)
I usually enjoy Tom Horn!
To be clear, I like the way Tom thinks outside of the box. But clearly, Chapter Seven is a trainwreck that happens to arrive at the station on time —2025!
Furthermore, it is not wise to suggest that the lunar calendar used by Jews today is demonic — which is what the Book of Jubilees and Enoch says. Clearly, they all sinned back then by demonizing each other — and it appears that little has changed since.
Chapter Seven of Tom’s book does have a general reference from the Dead Sea Scrolls concerning the jubilees but considering the importance of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees within the Essene Community it is highly likely that mention of jubilees in the “Book of Melchizedek” was understood by all to be cycles of 49 and not 50, otherwise, the Essenes collected grossly contradicting materials in those caves.
The following is quoted from Chapter Seven of Tom’s book: (Bold and in red is to highlight the important part of this quote.)
To show what the Essenes were looking for in the Messiah within the
context of their calendar and understanding of ages, we can look at some
of their writings that still exists today.
An interesting document called
11QMelchizedek found among the Dead Sea Scroll in the Qumran caves
is believed to have been written around a century before the birth of Jesus
Christ, at the latest.423 It accurately predicts the arrival and death of the
coming Messiah, right down to the exact year, and uses the Essene calendar
and understanding of the ages of human history to explain it:
And as for what he said: (Lev 25:13—In [this] year of jubilee, [you
shall return, each one, to his respective property), concerning it he
said: (Deut 15:2—Th]is is [the manner of the release:] every creditor
shall release what he lent [to his neighbor. He shall not coerce
his neighbor or his brother, for it has been proclaimed] a release
for G[od) Its interpretation] for the last days refers to the captives,
who…and whose teachers have been hidden and kept secret, and from the inheritance of Melchizedek, fo[r…]…and they are the inherita[nce of Melchize]dek, who will make them return. And liberty will be proclaimed for them, to free them from [the debt of ] all their iniquities. And this [wil]l [happen] in the first week of the jubilee which follows the nine jubilees. And the d[ay of aton]ement is the e[nd of ] the tenth [ju]bilee in which atonement shall be made for all the sons of [light and] for the men [of] the lord of Mel[chi]zedek. over [the]m… accor[ding to] a[ll] their [wor]ks, for it is the time for the (year of grace) of Melchizedek, and of [his] arm[ies, the nat]ion of the holy ones of God, of the rule of judgment, as is written about him in the songs of David, who said: (Ps
82:1—Elohim will [st]and in the assem[bly of God,] in the midst of the gods he judges). And about him he sai[d: (Ps 82:2—How
long will you] judge unjustly and show part[lity] to the wicked?
[Se]lah).424 (11QMelchizedek, Col. 2, 2–11)
That might be a bit difficult to read, but it’s written that way because
these texts were found in fragments and had to be reconstructed over
time. That aside, what we learn here is stunningly accurate and comes
across as incredibly Christian, even though it was written no later than
100 BC. We first learn that, according to the writer of this text, the Law
of Moses in Leviticus and Deuteronomy points to the coming Messiah.
The biblical passages that are quoted are interpreted as having to do with
the last days, when the Messiah will free the captives from the debt of
their iniquities—or, in other words, will forgive sinners of their sins. It
says this will happen in the first week (seven years) of the jubilee (again, a
fifty-year period) that follows the nine jubilees. So, once we have passed
nine jubilees, in the first week of the tenth jubilee, that’s when this is supposed
to happen. Remember, there are ten jubilees to a five hundred onahs
cycle, so they are talking about the onah they’re currently in. Additionally,
they were in the final onah of their age, so this tenth jubilee would have
been the final jubilee of their age. When we use their calendar (keeping in
mind that we already calculated the beginning of Creation to 3926 BC,
meaning the beginning of their age would have been in 1926 BC), we
find out their age would conclude in AD 75. This means the final jubilee
of their age (the tenth jubilee, or “the jubilee which follows the nine jubilees”)
began in AD 25. Now we only have to add the “first week,” which
is a week of years, or a shemitah, and we arrive at AD 32.
I appreciate Tom for bringing the GENERAL NOTION of time being divided into three sets of 2000 years, ending with 1000 years. This is obviously based upon the Bible’s (and Seder Olam’s) 1948 years from Creation to the birth of Abraham.
Thanks, Tom. I love listening to ya! I really do.
But corrections, or at least, clarifications, need to be made.
HOWEVER, the reference to “nine jubilees” plus a “week” and a jubilee is taken from Daniel 9:24-27! The Book of Melchizedek goes on to say so!
And Daniel specifies that the ten jubilees amount to “490 years”, not 500! And remember, the Book of Melchizedek came after Daniel and is NOT holy Scripture anyway!
Compare the Book of Melchizedek with Daniel below. Keep in mind that the Dead Sea Scrolls endorsed the Book of Jubilees with its 49-year jubilee and the Book of Enoch with its calendar that never breaks the seven-day (weekly) successive cycles — which would be anathema to do so):
(Book of Melchizedek)
He will proclaim to them the Jubilee, thereby releasing them from the debt of all their sins. He shall proclaim this decree in the first week of the jubilee period that follows nine jubilee periods.
Then the “Day of Atonement” shall follow after the tenth jubilee period, when he shall atone for all the Sons of Light, and the people who are predestined to Melchizedek. (…) upon them (…) For this is the time decreed for the “Year of Melchizedek`s favor”,
…”The messengers” is the Anointed of the spirit, of whom Daniel spoke; “After the sixty-two weeks, an Anointed shall be cut off” (Dan. 9;26). The “messenger who brings good news, who announces Salvation” is the one of whom it is written; “to proclaim the year of the LORD`s favor, the day of the vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn” (Isa. 61;2) (Dan. 9:25)] (See Gnosis.org & Wiki: Book of Melchizedek)
(Compare to the Book of Daniel)
“Seventy weeks (that is, 490 years/days) are decreed upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the anointed one, the prince, shall be seven weeks (that is, 49 years) , and threescore and two weeks (that is, 9 jub. less the last week): it shall be built again, with street and moat, even in troublous times.
And after the threescore and two weeks (that is, 9 jub. less the last week) shall the anointed one be cut off, and shall have nothing: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and even unto the end shall be war; desolations are determined.
And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; and upon the wing of abominations shall come one that maketh desolate; and even unto the full end, and that determined, shall wrath be poured out upon the desolate. (Dan. 9:24-27, ASV)
The only difference between Daniel and this other obscure book is that the Book of Melchizedek lays stress on ten percent (tithe), which is what one would expect because ‘Abraham paid a tithe to Melchizedek’, (Gen. 14:20). However, the tithe first goes to the Lord, which is why the Bible correctly puts the tithe first as “49 + (9 x 49) = 490”, rather than the other way around as found in this non-canonical book.
Also, observe that the “issuing of the decree to build Jerusalem “(Dan. 9:24) in 445/444 BC, plus “nine jubilees” is 4/3 BC so that the life of Christ coincides with Daniel’s tenth jubilee. This is likely what the Essenes (or whoever authored it) taught in the Book of Melchizedek.
Comet Apophis in 2029
Seventy jubilees later is fall of AD 2025, plus 3.5 years (half-a-week) is April 2029, the year of the asteroid!
I wrote the above back in late 2004. At the time I acknowledged that it was an important sign, but unlikely anything more than that. bible-codes.org/apophis.htm
More recently, Tom Horn has also made reference to Comet Apophis and suggests that it will hit the earth 1335 days from the start of the 120th jubilee in 2025.
I wrote about this over a year ago in this post. (The code needed for the link from the Apophis post is 1260.)
Yet another sign! 1274 + 1274 +21 days and years to Asteroid Apophis!
This is nothing new to me. Whenever the Lord reveals something it always occurs with an ultra improbable sign. In this case, the sign is useful to confirm upon which day the “two or three leap weeks” are inserted.
I began this post referring to the Enoch Calendar and “1274 + 1274 +21 days”.
Here is what I said in a footnote:
Footnote: The Essenes (of the Dead Sea Scrolls) likely used one of these two methods, but we cannot be sure. However, in this study, we care little about what the Essenes practiced, but rather what the Book of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees say or imply. After all, the Book of Enoch inspired the Essenes who hid the Dead Sea Scrolls and not the other way around. Though not the simplest, my personal favorite of mechanizing leap weeks is as follows:
Every 7 years add a leap week (2548 + 7 days). Every jubilee (7 x 7 yrs), add 3 weeks, with the exception of 3 out of every ten jubilees (490), where just 2 weeks are added. Thus, 490 years has 178969 days, (an average year of 365.2428571 days).
Compare to Daniel 9:24-10:4 — Coincidence?
“3”, “7” & “10” are all numbers that symbolize completion, as can “400”. At the end of 400 jubilees, a leap week is dropped, producing a Gregorian & 360-Cal. average of 365.2425 in 19600 years. 2025-2032 AD is 7 x 490 from the Conquest of Canaan (1406-1399 BC), and 7 x 364 (plus 2 or 3 weeks of years) from 538 BC, (the return to Promised Land). Ponder that!
Make sure you read carefully those seven verses referred to.
Compare to Daniel 9:24-10:4 — Coincidence?
Two days before this post, I wrote the following article:
- Hubble Detects Single Star 1290 (10^7) Years Old — a record Friday, April 1, 2022
The next day I came across a video by Tom Horn that led to this April 3rd post.
In the said April 1st post, I refer to several past images about a meteor striking the Accursed Mountain.
Below, with its images, is cut and pasted from the post:
(The skull at the top of the mountain is literally a known meteor as explained in the link from the below quote.)
In the next image posted in April of 2019, the dragon is slain atop the same mountain by the Lion (Leo) of Judah as He enters through the Ring of Power (earth’s aurora halo) with a large star surrounding it. (The seven-sided star is the Bride of the Lamb, and at the seven points are seven mightly angels.)
A Massive Coincidence?
It happens that 1274 + 1274 + 21 days from this post (or the day after inclusive), is the anniversary of the 21 days (“3 weeks”) of Daniel 10, Friday, March 23 to Friday, April 13th, 2029. (All dates are on the 364-Calendar referred to in Tom’s book.)
And speaking of “21 days”, notice the caption in the above image: ‘7 of the 21 stars fall from the sky’ — the same as our leap months, “14” and “21”.
“Friday, April 13th, 2029” happens to be the day when Apophis passes near earth! (Tom Horn thinks that it will hit earth. I only think it’s a sign, but an important one. Yet, improbable things can happen, as we shall see!)
Thus, the 490th Seven-Year period from the Promised Land (1406 BC) converges with the reentry into the Promised Land in 538 BC, which is 1274 + 1274 +21 years to 2025, which in turn converges with our 1274+1274+21 days — All on the correct anniversary dates given in Dan. 10. (Moreover, the angel Gabriel revealed Daniel 9 and 10 to Daniel also in 538/536 BC).
Plugging in the sign!
The three leap weeks are added spring of 2025, thus…
April 1, 2022, + (364 + 364 + 364 + 21 days + 182) = 1295 days — plus 1274 = Asteroid Apophis, in 2029, etc.
(The 2 or 3 leap weeks should be added Wednesday, March 12th or 5th, 2025, with the New Year on the morning of Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Therefore, in 2029, the New Year lands on March 21st, 20 hours after the Spring Equinox in Jerusalem.)
The convergence is much more spectacular than said here, but that’s enough said.
