I am amazed how the past several months of posts come together as background for this sign.

Actually, today I planned to post my most recent research about the Jewish lunar calendar, how it aligns perfectly with Daniel’s “70 weeks”, (Dan. 9). Not merely 70 times 7 years, but literally 70 weeks.

In summary, most events at the time of the restoration of Israel after the 70-year exile as found in the books of Daniel, Haggai, Ezra, and Zechariah are dated to be seventy weeks (490 days) after crucial anniversaries in the history of Israel to do with the “abomination that causes desolation”. Indeed, this has been the theme of the past few posts. Here is one of the charts I planned on putting out today.

Daniel 70 weeks chart with literal weeks. Another 490 days extend before this as well, to 539 BC — just before the fall of Jerusalem on the anniversary of the 49th or 50th anniversary of the fall of Jerusalem in 589 or 588 BC. The dates in this chart perhaps better work placed back one year, which is possible. Reference to a “fast” that Daniel was keeping at the time when the angel Gabriel came to him (Dan. 9:3), which likely was on Tam 9, Av 7-10, Teb. 5th, 10th, depending on a fall to fall (539-538 BC) or spring to spring (538-537 BC) dating methodology for Dan. 9:1. Either is possible. See Zech. 7:1-3; 8:19.

The above is going to connect with the sign of the Two Witnesses that occurred this very day, Dec. 6, 2021.

Footnote: The 8th day of Chanukkah was celebrated Dec. 5th after dark, and the lunar day lasts unto the evening of Dec. 6th. In our calculations, any portion of the entire 8th day is included. 

I know that this is complicated, but the solar-eclipse sign of the sun's shadow moving backward on Dec. 4, 2021, indicates a lengthening of the day (and year) as if the 8th day of Chunuakkh was on Tev. 3rd, as is literally the case in 2023 & 2025. Thus, while eight lights are lit this year on Tev. 2 on the Chanukkah Menorah, the Temple Menorah that is lit only has seven lights, the same as with the Chanukkah Menorah some years.).

It is tempting to elaborate further on the above chart. For more information, please click on this comment I made earlier today in response to someone else’s comment.

In response, I said:

I was looking for that sort of information the other day and did not find anything. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

And so I clicked on the link that was sent me. I discovered that the sign of anointing oil was to occur on the last day of Chanukkah when the 8th light is lit.

I will now explain how this sign reveals the Two Witnesses of Revelation. But before this, please read this short post from Nov. 18, 2021, to avoid repeating myself.

How is this Chanukah special?

Before I continue, please know that there are different opinions of what or who the Two Witnesses of Rev. 11 are. I personally believe that they are archetypes of many things and are not literally just two people. However, most disagree with that, I know.

Only one thing I ask:

Do not take what is said here to mean that the tribulation period has begun and that the two witnesses are somewhere appearing in the world!

I have said over and over again for the past 30 years, to expect signs to do with the end times leading up to the year 2025 because 2025 is 70 jubilees from when Israel entered the Promised Land (1406 BC), and Israel will be 77-years a nation.

And so it is.

There are already over a hundred posts documenting such signs here on 1260d.com. This is another one. Likely this is only a foreshadowing of the real thing yet to come. But remember, prophecy is fulfilled like a fractal, therefore expect plagues as per Rev. 11, but not necessarily the final fulfillment of all things. This is just a dress rehearsal that leads to something greater later.

On Monday, December 6, a reenactment of several Temple ceremonies will be held in Mitzpe Yericho. The reenactments will include a demonstration of the anointing of the High Priest, and the lighting of the Temple menorah. A new altar will be dedicated for use on the Temple Mount. Each ceremony is an essential element of the Temple service and practical efforts such as these are intended to prepare for the Third Temple. Israel365news

Before we begin, it is essential that you review Rev. 11.

Revelation 11

The Two Witnesses

11 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” 4 They are “the two olive trees” and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.”[a] 5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. 6 They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified. 9 For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. 10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

11 But after the three and a half days the breath[b] of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.

The Seventh Trumpet

15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:

“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever.”

The Gold Lampstand and the Two Olive Trees of Zechariah 4 with its 49 spouts. Rev. 11 about the Two Witnesses alludes to this passage

In point form:

  • To the Jew, there are literally “two lampstands” (Rev. 11:4): the regular seven-branched Temple menorah (lampstand) of the temple and the Chanukah menorah  (lampstand) with its eight branches (nine included the “servant” candle). (You will have to do your own research about Chanukah!)

A demonstration of the lighting of the Temple menorah will be held. A Hanukkah menorah (also called a Hanukkiah) has nine branches whereas the one used in the demonstration, made of wood covered in gold and standing at about four feet tall, has seven branches, modeled after the Menorah that stood in the two Jewish Temples as well as the Tabernacle. Thus, “two lampstands” are lit on the last day of Chanukah  — Both “The Temple menorah” and the “Chanukah menorah”!

They are “the two olive trees” and the two lampstands, and “they stand before the Lord of the earth.”Rev. 11:4 

  • Rev. 11 draws from the “lampstand” of Zech. 4. In Zech. 4, we are told that the two witnesses “two branches” are the prince (King) and the High Priest, who together symbolize Messiah. Compare to the article’s headline

  • The rehearsal for the real thing (the anointing of Messiah) occurs at a barren hilltop overlooking Jericho. Jericho was the first city conquered when Israel entered the Promised Land in 1406 BC. AD 2025 is 70 jubilees later. Jericho was conquered by marching around it for seven days, then God sent the earthquake that flattened its walls.

13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon. (Rev. 11:12-14)

  • “A new altar will be dedicated for use on the Temple Mount,” Israel365news. This is the exact location where the Two Witnesses first appear.

  • Rev. 11 tells us that at the end of “42 months” (“1260 days”) the Two Witnesses die, then rise 3.5 days later. As this website has laboriously explained in dozens of posts: Half-a-seven-year period is expressed different way.
    • “42 months” is 1260 days (42 x 30-days-in-a-month), the same as 3.5 x 360 days
    • The Book of Enoch says that 360 x 3.5-years actually expresses 364 x 3.5-years. Thus, 3.5 years on the Enoch calendar (Essene) are 1274 days, with perhaps a leap week, too (1281 days)
    • The Jewish calendar has 1270 days, and sometimes 1299
      • However, a pure “42 months” is just 1240 days, such as the Muslim world uses today
  • Hanukkah is one plus seven days. (The oil for one day lasted eight, a “miracle”). Hanukkah begins at the end of the 24th day of Kislev, after evening, the 25th day
    • The prophet Haggai lays great stress on 520 BC, Kislev 24th by repeating the date three times and tells us to give careful thought to that day. Why? Because it’s an example of Daniel’s “seventy weeks”. From the anniversary of the fall of Jerusalem on Av 7th, 586 BC to 521 BC, plus 490 days is Kislev 24, 520 BC, (Haggai 2:10-23)
    • If a 3.5-year period on the lunar calendar is 1270 days, thus seven years is 1270 + 1270 days. It happens that 520 BC, Kislev 24th plus 1270 + 1270 YEARS is Kislev 24th, 2021, that is, the day before Chanukah about which we speak! Think about that! (Moreover, I happen to refer to 1270 + 1270 YEARS in the previous post — Coincidence?)
    • Recall that 2025 is 70 jubilees from when Israel entered the Promised Land, 49 x 70. This is the same as 490 Sabbath Years (Shmitas). Thus, the 490th Shmita intersects seven years of years! (Moreover, Haggai’s temple took 3.5 years to build, 520 to spring 516 BC.)
        • When the Two Witnesses die, the world gives gifts to one other for half a week (Rev. 11:10). Chanukkah is also a time to give gifts to each other, and when a day is as a year, 3.5 days become 3.5 years. This brings us to the most spectacular of timing!

Let us now count 3.5 years from the 8th day of Chanukah when the sign of the anointing of the King /Highpriest is acted out, and the new altar is dedicated. First, we use the Jewish lunar calendar:

After “42 months” and “3.5 days” the Two Witnesses rise up before the eyes of their enemies, which is Iyar 5/6 — the 77th anniversary of Israel (2025) when they became a nation before the eyes of their enemies.

However, 3.5 years is normally 1270 days, which is one more month, that is, 1270 days brings us to Pentecost, 2025. Pentecost is the day when God rose up the Church and breathed into them a breath “like a mighty rushing wind” — the gift of the Holy Spirit.

11 But after the three and a half days the breath[b] of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. (Rev. 11:11)

However, in this case, the next 3.5 years span not 1270 days, but 1299, which brings us to the anniversary of the call of Ezekiel, when God descended in His heavenly chariot, which is symbolic of the ascension and return of Jesus Christ.

Moreover, the then-future sign of the anointing oil about which we speak was purposely first announced on the anniversary of the covenant with Noah, “8th month 27 the day”.

“The Temple and the Temple service benefit all the nations,” Rabbi Weiss explained. “For that reason, we made the announcement on the 27th of Cheshvan, (2021), the day that Noah exited the ark and made a sacrifice to God. Israel365news

  • It happens that 3.5 lunar years later (1299 days) is Iyar 27th, the anniversary of when Jesus ascended up to heaven in a cloud before the eyes of men.

Compare:

12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. (Rev. 11:12)

But what about the Enochian calendar of 1274 days?

  • It happens that because 1270 + 3.5 lunar days equals “1274 days” (3.5 Enochian years), therefore, from Dec. 6th, 2021, plus 1274 days is also Pentecost on the lunar calendar, 2025.

Now, the first Pentecost (1446 BC) occurred when Moses ascended up Mount Sinai into the cloud of God’s presence before the eyes of Israel.

12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. (Rev. 11:12)

If we include the leap week that I mentioned earlier, then 1274 + 7 = 1281 days, well, then we simply include the week of Chanukah and arrive once again at Pentecost. (However, the Bible also speaks of trumpet blasts “seven days” at the time Moses went up the Mountain. Compare to Rev. 11:15 about the “seventh trumpet”!)

What about the 360-calendar (1260 days)?

It happens that on the 360-calendar, 1260 plus 3.5 days from the evening of Dec. 6th, 2021, brings us to the morning of the 27th day, 2nd month. Once again, that’s the anniversary on the 360-calendar for when Jesus ascended up to heaven!

Thus, both the 360 and lunar calendars arrive at the anniversary of when Jesus ascended up to heaven in a cloud.

12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. (Rev. 11:12)

By now I hope you see that this evening, Dec. 6th, 2021, is the sign of what might have been — the start of the ministry of the Two Witnesses so as to culminate in the 70th jubilee from when Israel entered the Promised Land, which is 70 x 7 x 7 years.

2300 days (& half that, 1150) & “the temple” (Rev. 11:1)

He said to me, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated.” Dan. 8:14

I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers… And I will appoint my two witnesses… Rev. 11:1,3

Daniel 8 prophesies regarding “2300 evenings and mornings”, which is 2300 days and/or 1150 days. This was initially fulfilled in 165 BC, from whence comes Chanukkah. “Chanukkah” is Hebrew for “dedication”.

On the 360-Calendar, the dedication on Dec. 6, 2021, is “the 9th month, 23rd day (and after evening) 24th day. 1150 days later in Adar 3rd in 2025 (i.e., “11th/12th month, 3rd day”).

Compare these two dates:

‘From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid. Give careful thought: Haggai 1:1; 2:18

The temple was completed on the third day of the month Adar, in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius. Then the people of Israel—the priests, the Levites and the rest of the exiles—celebrated the dedication (“Chanukkah”) of the house of God with joy. Ezra 6:15-16

Zerubabbel’s temple of the books of Ezra, Zechariah, and Haggai, informs us that the temple was restored after a little less than 3.5 (or 4.5) years, on Adar 3rd, 516/515 BC. In our discussion of the lunar calendar, we said that Haggai repeated the date three times for emphasis, “the 24th day of the 9th month” (Haggai 2). And we said that from back then (i.e., Kislev 24, 520, &  Adar 3rd, 516/515 BC) unto now (Kislev 2021 & Adar 2025) are 1270 + 1270 years (and/or 1270 + 1269), which as days is seven years on the lunar calendar.

Moreover, Chanukkah is the anniversary of the day when the 1150 days ended, (Kislev 25th, 165 BC). Thus, Kislev 24/25 both ends and begins 1150 days, for a total of “2300 days”. And Dec. 6th, 2021, the day of the rehearsal of the anointing of Messiah, the dedication of the altar, and the lighting of the two lampstands, just happens to land on this exact midpoint of the 2300 days!

All Bible numeric on this subject perfectly come together on Dec. 6, 2021. And every calendar system is in agreement, solar and lunar, “God’s faithful witnesses”! (Psalms 89:35-37)

The Eclipses

Even eclipse cycles align, including the shadow of the sun going backward over Antarctica in the middle of Chanukkah — 15 days after the other. This may confirm what was said 15 years ago, that God has “added 15 years”, as well as this old article: Mount Carmel Hanukah Forest Fire on Dec. 2-5, 2010.

Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life… I will make the sun’s shadow that falls on the stairway (sundial) of Ahaz go back ten steps.’ ” So the sunlight went back the ten steps it had descended. Isaiah  38:6-8

The Comet

And the only comet visible with the naked eye became visible on Dec. 5, 2021, and increased over the next week until the glare of the sun overpowers it. It happens that 3.5 days after the Dec. 6th ceremony, the comet crossed “The Serpent Wrestler” constellation for another 3.5 days.

This obviously fits well with our numeric.

Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. (Rev. 12:7-9)

Comet Leonard, 2021, Dec 10-13. “Leo-nard”, means, “Strong as the Lion” (… of Judah!). And with His fiery sword, Leo slashes the “Head of the Serpent” (constellation).

What about 70 jubilees as reckoned by the Sanhedrin today?

Now someone might object to a 49-year jubilee as attested to in the Book of Jubilees and the Book of Enoch and Daniel 9 and the rest of the Bible, really. But if for argument’s sake we use the Jewish chronology adjusted to the correct date for the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC, we arrive at 1476 BC for the Exodus, the year that Moses ascended up Mount Sinai, (Pentecost).

Well, it happens that “1476 BC” is 70 jubilees of 50 years, which is 3500 years, which is half-7000 years. Remember that the Bible says, “A day is as 1000 years”, that is, as “3.5 days”! (2Peter 3:8.)

But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. (2Pet. 3:8)

Compare:

And this “3500 years” is not merely what I said in an article posted here a short while back, but also according to Israel365news  on Nov. 5th, 2021. Below is the chronology posted just before Israel365news. Keep in mind that the actual Exodus occurred 30 years after, (1446 BC instead of 1476 BC).

  1. Thank you Dean for all you do. May the Lord bless you even more! I have one question though, about the sundial in Isaiah going backwards, how is that possible scientifically? This is because I have a prompting to find that out.

    • That’s like asking Einstein how two people can begin with the same time on their watch but after traveling near the speed of light now have vastly different times on their watch. There are many possible ways. A small roaming isolated black hole near Jerusalem could do it — among a great number of other ways.

The 1260 calendar does definitely relate to the 7 year Draconic, these calendars are amazing, though I certainly don’t have nearly the grasp on them yet as you do…your work proclaims an important reality relating to the discernment of the season. I appreciate your willingness to publicly declare these wonders.

    I am fascinated by the 19 year Metonic reality expressed in eclipses…meaning the co-ordination of the draconic, solar and synodic calendars every 19 years…thus allowing for repeating dates of eclipses, as you know ( for instance…this last week’s Dec. 4th eclipse was preceded 19 years ago by a Dec. 4th 2002 eclipse and 19 years before that by a Dec. 4th 1983 eclipse)…

    I notice that the independence of Israel on May 14 1948 and the beginning of 6 Day War on June 4th or 5th 1967 ( i use the 4th date instead of the 5th for unrelated reasons) are 19 years minus two weeks…that makes modern Israel almost exactly 70 years old in eclipse years as of the October 8 2014 lunar eclipse and 70.5 at the North Pole Equinox eclipse of 3-20-2015.

    Likewise, from June 4th 1967 to lunar eclipse of Oct 8 2033 will be 70 eclipse years almost exactly and 70.5 eclipse years to Spring Equinox of March 20, 2034.

    You may have all this in your Blood Moon studies, which I am just scratching the surface of!
    Needless to say, I am blown away by the realities of this matter and the extraordinary depth of genius of our God. He has written messages in the design and I am so grateful…God Bless you, Brother

    • Amen! I often tell people that the glory of God screams out from every corner of the universe. The most astonishing thing, however, is the blindness of men. They can’t see it!

      Only once is the Bible is it recorded that Jesus was surprised.

      A Prophet Without Honor

      1Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples. 2When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed.

      “Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing? 3Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, a Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.

      4Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.” 5He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. 6He was amazed at their lack of faith.

      All calendars work together in harmony. As I have tried to explain, this allows God to fulfill prophecy as He said and yet allow latitude for men to shorten or lengthen the time by switching calendars. For example, what if God said: “In 70 years Israel will return from Babylon”. You read this prophecy and notice the time is near, but you understand that things can be shortened or lengthened according to how God counts the 70 years. So you pray. God shortens the time so that 70 purely lunar years later the decree for Israel to leave Babylon is fulfilled. And then lesser things happen after that, such as 70 regular years to the rebuilding of the temple. Well, this is what God did! (Ponder Daniel 9). Tisri 1st, 605 BC plus 70 lunar years is Tishri 1st 537 BC, the rebuilding of the altar. Ezra 3. But it was 70 eclipse years from the summer of 605 BC (when Israel fell and Daniel was taken captive) to the fall of Babylon on Tisri 16th, 539 BC.

      And this is what we are called to do. PRAY and effect God for time and eternity. We are priests unto God with more authority than can be imagined. And this goes for the small things as well, such as praying for your family.
      Think fractal.
      In a fractal big and small are relative to your viewpoint. Your family is huge in God’s plan, but when you step back and look at the universe, it seems so small. In truth, it is both big and small, which is the antidote for pride.

        • If you count back 3.5 years or 1260 days from Pentecost June 1, 2025 (possible date when Christ the Messiah returns), you come to December 19, 2021 starting the day before at sunset on the 18th. just days away. I expect some important events leading up to the 19th of December 2021. (Side note: Prince Charles of England just announced a European Power to overtake the World).

    • Sand Sheff, it is interesting that the “346.62 eclipse year” aligns again with a solar year (365.2422 days) every 93 solar years. Thus, every 93 years and 1.25 days there does elapse 98 eclipse years. Thus, every jubilee of eclipse years elapses 46.5 solar years. This allows for easy calculations. For example, from creation 4114 BC spring (or 4115 BC fall) to the death of Adam are 930 years, which elapse 980 eclipse years. (From the exodus and tabernacle to Zerubbabel’s temple are 930 years (980 eclipse years).

      And from 4115/4114 BC creation plus 4900 eclipse years is AD 537/536, which many historians consider to be the worst year in the past 10000 years. This is interesting because the Book of Enoch stresses the importance of 4900 years in that the fallen angels are locked away for “70 generations”, and the Book of Revelation alludes to the release of these angels with a description similar to that which occurred in 537/536 AD. Many believe that this event opened the way for the “locust” of Muslim hoards to invade.

  3. I had been working on Hanukkah & comets recently as I was reviewing some of my old studies. For instance the recovery (rediscovery) of Halley’s Comet on Hanukkah:Kislev 25 & Christmas Day (traditional anniversary of Christ’s Birth) Dec. 25, 1758AD (plus its perihelion Mar. 13, 1759 = Spring New Year on 360 Calendar & Purim on Hebrew Calendar). It’s second confirmed apparition, as Wikipedia reports, was in 164BC (Interesting year! Year of the Re-dedication of the Temple (Hanukkah) & Daniel 8’s 2300 evenings & mornings). Another supposed apparition, according to calculations of the orbit, coincided with year that beginning of the Great Jewish Revolt 66AD (66-73AD) . May have been the comet reported by Josephus in the JEWISH WAR, \’I. 288-295

    • My previous comment, sent on Dec.7 @ 9PM (above) corresponded to SDY1206BC (25th day of the 9th Month: 360, as did the Hanukkah Eclipse Comet of 1948, if using the New Datum created by the seven years of years (2548) to 1952AD from 597BC . The middle of the base of the Menorah on the Overlapping Bible Codes Prophecy image could represent this (Nov.1, 1948 Discovery of Comet during Eclipse) date as well. Very interesting.

It was 24-25th day of the 9th month (in Israel (Mandated Palestine at the time). America Was drawn into the war & helped turn the tide.

    Caesarea Philippi (Gates of Hell ), which stood in a lush area near the foot of Mount Hermon, was a city dominated by immoral activities and pagan worship. Caesarea Philippi stood only twenty-five miles from the religious communities of Galilee. But the city’s religious practices were vastly different from those of the nearby Jewish towns. In Old Test- times, the northeastern area of Israel became a center for Baal worship. In the nearby city of Dan, Israelite king Jeroboam built the high place that angered God and eventually led the Israelites to worship false gods. Eventually, worship of the baals was replaced with worship of Greek fertility gods. Caesarea Philippi, which stood in a lush area near the foot of Mount Hermon, became the religious center for worship of the Greek god, Pan. The Greeks named the city Panias in his honor. Years later, when Romans conquered the territory, Herod Philip rebuilt the city and named it after himself. But Caesarea Philippi continued to focus on worship of Greek gods. In the cliff that stood above the city, local people built shrines and temples to Pan. Interestingly, Jesus chose to deliver a sort of “graduation speech” to his disciples at Caesarea Phi-lippi. In that pagan setting, he encouraged his disciples to build a church that would overcome the worst evils.

    The Gates of Hell
    To the pagan mind, the cave at Caesarea Philippi created a gate to the underworld, where fertility gods lived during the winter. They committed detestable acts to worship these false gods. Caesarea Philippi’s location was especially unique because it stood at the base of a cliff where spring water flowed. At one time, the water ran directly from the mouth of a cave set in the bottom of the cliff.

    The pagans of Jesus’ day commonly believed that their fertility gods lived in the underworld during the winter and returned to earth each spring. They saw water as a symbol of the underworld and thought that their gods traveled to and from that world through caves.

    To the pagan mind, then, the cave and spring water at Caesarea Philippi created a gate to the underworld. They believed that their city was literally at the gates of the underworld%u2014the gates of hell. In order to entice the return of their god, Pan, each year, the people of Caesarea Philippi engaged in horrible deeds, including prostitution and sexual interaction between humans and goats.

    When Jesus brought his disciples to the area, they must have been shocked. Caesarea Philippi was like a red-light district in their world and devout Jews would have avoided any contact with the despicable acts committed there. It was a city of people eagerly knocking on the doors of hell. Jesus presented a clear challenge with His words at Caesarea Philippi: He didn’t want his followers hiding from evil: He wanted them to storm the gates of hell.

    Standing near the pagan temples of Caesarea Philippi, Jesus asked his disciples “Who do you say that I am?” Peter boldly replied, “You are the Son of the living God.” The disciples were probably stirred by the contrast between Jesus, the true and living God, and the false hopes of the pagans who trusted in “dead” gods.

    Jesus continued, “You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it” (see Matt. 16:13-20).

    Though Christian traditions debate the theological meaning of those words, it seems clear that Jesus? words also had symbolic meaning. His church would be built on the “rock” of Caesarea Philipp rock literally filled with niches for pagan idols, where ungodly values dominated.

    Gates were defensive structures in the ancient world. By saying that the gates of hell would not overcome, Jesus suggested that those gates were going to be attacked.

    Standing as they were at a literal “Gate of Hades,” the disciples may have been overwhelmed by Jesus’ challenge. They had studied under their rabbi for several years, and now he was commissioning them to a huge task: to attack evil, and to build the church on the very places that were most filled with moral corruption.

    Jesus presented a clear challenge with his words at Caesarea Philippi: He didn’t want his followers hiding from evil: He wanted them to storm the gates of hell.

    About Pan:PAN
    In ancient Greek religion and mythology, Pan is the god of the wild, shepherds and flocks, nature of mountain wilds, rustic music and impromptus, and companion of the nymphs. He has the hindquarters, legs, and horns of a goat, in the same manner as a faun or satyr. With his homeland in rustic Arcadia, he is also recognized as the god of fields, groves, wooded glens and often affiliated with sex; because of this, Pan is connected to fertility and the season of spring. The ancient Greeks also considered Pan to be the god of theatrical criticism. The word 👉panic ultimately derives from the god’s name, along with Pandemic, Pandora, Pandemonium.

    The son of Hermes and Penelope, or Zeus and Hybris, Pan was the Greek god of shepherds and flocks, who was especially popular in Arcadia. He was depicted as a satyr with a reed pipe, a shepherd’s crook and a branch of pine or crown of pine needles. In Greek mythology the satyrs are deities of the woods and mountains.

    Pan is also known as the Goat of Mendes and can be found today in the form of the horned goat God, made famous by the Knights Templars, Baphomet. 33rd Degree Freemason, Albert Pike had written in Morals and Dogma. He was the patron god of Arcadia. Perhaps because of his association with nature and animals, Pan did not have the appearance of a normal man. The bottom half of his body was like a goat, with the top half of his body being like other men.

    The connection Palmoni (Phi The Golden Numberer)
    The name Palmoni appears in the original Hebrew in the biblical book of Daniel. The still widely used King James Version of 1611 refers to Palmoni indirectly as “that certain saint” – “or,” as a marginal note from the translators says, “the numberer of secrets, or, the wonderful numberer:

    About Phi: The golden ratio is an irrational number, which is a real number that cannot be represented as a simple fraction. The digits continue with no noticeable pattern.
    FIBONACCI GOLDEN RATIO
    The relationship of the Fibonacci sequence to the golden ratio is this: The ratio of each successive pair of numbers in the sequence approximates Phi (1.618. . .) , as 5 divided by 3 is 1.666…, and 8 divided by 5 is 1.60. . . . The Fibonacci sequence is a series where the next term is the sum of pervious two terms. The first two terms of the Fibonacci sequence is 0 followed by 1. The Fibonacci sequence: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21—

    In Chapter 8 Daniel is given a vision of the future, and in this vision was a description of the length of time that the sanctuary would be trampled underfoot and the sacrifices stopped. In Verse 13 we find that Daniel heard this: “Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice and the transgression of desolation to give both the sanctuary and the hosts to be trodden under foot?” The word saint is Qadosh and means holy. This is not to be confused with New Testament believers in Christ who are also called saints. What we have here is one holy being asking another a question that is designed for Daniel’s instruction. There are three persons in this scene, and the certain saint gives a reply to the question of the first holy one so that Daniel will understand. In verse 14 the certain saint replies:
    “And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” Who is this certain saint or Qadosh being that knows the exact numbers that will measure or count the time of the desolation of the temple? The Hebrew word certain used for him is Palmoni and is one of those rare words that is only found one time in the scriptures. With no other references with which to compare, how can we be sure of its meaning? It just so happens that Palmoni which is spelled Pey Lamed Mem Vav Noon Yood is a contraction of two other words. They are Pala which means wonderful or marvelous, and Mone which means to count or number. With this we can declare that the name of the certain saint is the Wonderful Numberer.     Tracing the Children of Cain–
    Following the conquest of Mesopotamia by the Cyrus-Persians, the Babylonian priesthood fled to Pergamum in Asia Minor more so than Alexandria. The first Temple was dedicated to Caesar by Pergamous..They were promoters to the imperial cults probably what they meant by “Satan’s Seat” For many centuries after the fall of Babylon, Pergamos became the new seat of Satan (Revelation 2:12-13), but around 129 BC, opportunity arose for them to leave Pergamos and go to Rome and thus Rome became the final seat of Satan where he set up his church, and hence sun worship, which was practiced on Sunday, was most prevalent in Alexandria and Rome by the time of Christ. Church historian Socrates Scholasticus (5th century) wrote: “For although almost all churches throughout the world celebrate the sacred mysteries [of the Lord’s Supper] on the Sabbath of every week, yet the Christians of Alexandria and at Rome, on account of some ancient tradition, have ceased to do this.” – Socrates Scholasticus, Ecclesiastical History, Book 5, ch. 22.

  6. Dean, I am very much appreciating your insights into God’s calendars. I always. look forward to your new posts. Here’s my work on the Hepton ( 7-sided) Cycle of Eclipses. They are a Cosmic manifestation of 7 year and 3 and 1/2 year cycles (eclipse years and seasons) or Draconic years. The eclipse of Saturday Dec 4 was not in the Hepton, but the great American (8-21–2017 and 4-8-2024) and Mideast ( 8-2-2027 and 3-20-2037) eclipses are in the same Hepton Cycle, occurring at perfect 7 draconic year intervals (2422 days with other eclipses at 1211 days between them) Hepton eclipses occur on the same day of the week…and all 7 of them in this cycle occur on Monday…Moon Day!!!…There is a pattern of 7 and 3 and 1/2 years built into the cosmos.       Cycles that keep to the same day of the week work well with 1260 and 1274 of the calendars of Rev. 11 and the Book of Enoch. For example, 1211 is 49 less 1260 and 70 less 1281 (1274 with its leap week).
