The rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948 after nearly 1900 years occurred on May 14th at 4 pm. The timing of the proclamation was hastened that day to avoid the Sabbath which began at 6 pm. Six hours later, at midnight, British control officially ended.

This marked an important transition concerning “the times of the Gentiles”. May 15 was the first full day as a nation. The Arab-Israeli war commenced about 3 am on May 15 when Egypt attacked.

1948, when Israel became a nation, was perfectly timed on God’s prophetic clock, as was 1967, when Jerusalem was liberated.

Both 1948 and 1967 are major stages in the transition from “the times of the Gentiles” unto the times of the Jew.

“The times of the Gentiles”

They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Luke 21:24

The “times of the Gentiles” began in the days of Daniel, Ezekiel, and Jeremiah when Jerusalem was taken by the Babylonians. After that, there was only partial autonomy from time to time, but in AD 70 Jerusalem fell to the Romans as predicted by Jesus. All control was lost until 1948. The Temple Mount in Jerusalem –the heart and soul of Israel — was retaken in 1967 in fulfillment of Luke 21:24.

These two events in 1948 and 1967 demonstrate the Ezekiel Code — a numeric prophecy of staggering precision.

Footnote: Numerous other events in Biblical history also utilize the Ezekiel Code, such as the day when the Twin Towers fell (911), linked back to 1290 + 1290 years ago, but I leave that study to the reader. The Ezekiel Code applies to many events in redemptive history, perhaps all. 

Be sure to use the 360 Calendar of the Prophets. It's not that you can't use the regular Jewish lunar calendar and convert it to its 360-day/year equivalent, it's just that the 360 Calendar is of first importance and is also much simpler. Keep in mind that the 360 Calendar is simply a variation of the Enochian (Essene) 364-day calendar.

You will not understand what is said in this post without reading and pondering “The Ezekiel Code: Can these bones live?“.

1948, May 14-15 — When Israel became a nation

At 360Calendar.com, locate what May 15 was in 1948 on the 360 Calendar. (The regular lunar calendar works in unison with the 360 Calendar, but it is not addressed here for the sake of simplicity.)

The Ezekiel Code places emphasis on 43o days and years. “430” has its origin in the “400 years” “in a land, not their own” as foretold to Abraham, but which ended up to be exactly “430 years”, (Gen. 15:3; Ex. 12:40).

In a most remarkable “coincidence”, control of Palestine transitioned back to Israel in two stages: First from Turkish control after “400 years” and then from British control after another 30 years,  for a total of “430 years”!

Not just “400 years”, but both 400 and 430!

This is God reminding Israel of His covenant with Abraham — Israel was “430 years” in (Syria LXX and) Egypt from 1876 to 1446 BC, or rounded to “400 years”!

Recall the covenant to Abraham when he was about to sacrifice his son, Isaac. (Isaac no doubt was 13 at the time, just as Abraham’s other son, Ishmael, was 13 when circumcised and Sodom destroyed and the covenant reiterated, Gen. 17:19-27. “13” is the age when a child is considered a man. Isaac was 13 years of age in the spring of 2053 BC. This happens to be exactly 4000 years to 1948!)

The angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time  and said, “I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,  I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies,  and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.” Gen. 22:15-18.

Moreover, 430 + 430 years from the 430-year captivity in Egypt was when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians, 586 BC.

The Arab-Israeli war lasts 430 days

The timing of all this is obviously the hand of God. Yet no amount of proof is enough for most people, whose damnation is just.

The Arab-Israeli war began May 15th, 1948 (when Israel became a nation and Gentile control ended). It lasted 430 days! (“430” is calculated according to the same rules outlined in the Ezekiel Code regarding the transfer of the week. The war began on May 15th. May 15 unto the signing of the final treaty with Syria equals 431 days, but the week is 430 days apart.)

Moreover, Israel went to war with its same old enemies, some of who enslaved Israel in the past: Egypt, Babylon (Iraq), Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan.

And if all this were not enough, the “400” and 430″ days and years concerning Israel in 1948 is merely an outline. The glory is in the details because the very year and day and hour are plotted on God’s calendar, as evident by the Ezekiel Code.

Not just the year.

Not just the day.

But the very hour!

And not just in 1948, but the sign repeats itself again in 1967 when Jerusalem came under Israel’s control after 1900 years. (Recall that instead of “430 days”, the LXX reads “190”, Ezek. 4.)

Moreover, on the 360 Calendar, there are exactly 19 years to the day from when Israel became a nation (and the war commenced) unto the Six-day War of 1967 (when Jerusalem was taken). On the 360 Calendar, both 1948 and 1967 land on Pentecost, the 65th day of the year. Pentecost is the anniversary of the giving of the law on Mt. Sinai and of the birth of the Church 8 days after Jesus ascended to heaven.

Moreover, because of the leap month effect of the 360 Calendar, both 1948 and 1967 are also the anniversary of the seven days that preceded the 430 days that Ezekiel lay on his side to besiege Jerusalem symbolically, (Ezekiel 4).

This means that 1948 and 1967 were also both on the anniversary of the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC that occurred seven years after Ezekiel’s call (593 to 586 BC). (Please see the Ezekiel Code Chart and note the forwarded week for all events on the chart.)

Compare the date of Ezekiel’s call with May 15, 1948, and June 5, 1967, on the 360 Calendar. (I.e., to when the 1948 Israel-Arab war began and also the 1967 Six-Day War.)

Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin’s captivity,… Ezek. 1:1-2

Below are references to what we have so far discussed.

“400” & “430” years

Then the LORD told Abram, “You can be certain about this: Your descendants will be foreigners in a land that isn’t theirs. They will be slaves there and will be oppressed for 400 years. (Gen. 15:3)

Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years. At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the Lord’s divisions left Egypt. (Exod 12:40-41)

The Balfour Declaration

Israeli Independence

The United Nations approved a plan to partition Palestine into a Jewish and Arab state in 1947, but the Arabs rejected it.

In May 1948, Israel was officially declared an independent state with David Ben-Gurion, the head of the Jewish Agency, as the prime minister. history.com/topics/middle-east/history-of-israel

Ensuing Arab-Israeli War

On 15 May 1948, the civil war transformed into a conflict between Israel and the Arab states following the Israeli Declaration of Independence the previous day. Egypt, Transjordan, Syria, and expeditionary forces from Iraq entered Palestine. Wiki

The fourth and last truce agreement, the 1949 armistice agreement, was signed between Israel and Syria on 20 July 1949 on Hill 232 near Mahanayim, ending the formal conflict in the former Mandatory Palestine. Wiki

Jesus said:

They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

(Note: Daniel’s captivity in 605 BC unto 1917/1947 is 1260 + 1260 & 1260 + 1290 years plus a day/year or two, (Dan. 12, Rev. 11-12). Jerusalem again fell in 586 BC, 19 years later, and thus the pattern repeats, this time to 1967 — a second witness! The Ezekiel Code reveals why this delay of a day/year!)

1967 is a foreshadow of the return of Yeshua the Messiah

Moreover, June 5th (or 6th), 1967 on the regular Jewish calendar (and Islamic Calendar!) is the anniversary of when Jesus left Jerusalem to the Mount of Olives and there ascended up to heaven on Iyar 27. Jesus said that He would soon return from heaven back to the Mount of Olives “in like manner”, (Acts 1:11-12; Zech 14:2-4).

What is “soon”?

“On the third day”, therefore, is Iyar 28th.

On Iyar 28th, 1967, this happened:

June 7^th, 1967. On the third day of the Six-Day War, from atop the Mount of Olives overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem, Colonel Mordechai(Motta) Gur, commander of the 55^th Paratroopers Brigade, gives a historic order over the Israeli Defense Forces’ wireless:

All company commanders, we’re sitting right now on the ridge and we’re seeing the Old City. Shortly we’re going to go into the Old City of Jerusalem, that all generations have dreamed about. We will be the first to enter the Old City. Eitan’s tanks will advance on the left and will enter the Lion’s Gate…

Having given his historic order, Motta Gur descended the Mount of Olives and approached the Lion’s Gate, instructing a tank to blow a breach through the portal. This achieved, Alpha Company poured in. Zamosh takes up the narration:

Inside the Lion’s Gate is a small court. On the left and slightly uphill I can see the Gate of the Tribes, which leads to the Temple Mount. Straight ahead lies the Via Dolorosa. [I have been ordered] to secure this lane, which snakes away into the center of the Old City. Providence

All this is obviously a foreshadowing of the return of Christ. And so the war began “40 days” after Firstfruits and from Passover to when Jerusalem and Bethlehem were liberated are 43 days, (Acts 1:9).

This was on the lunar calendar of the Jews. But as said, on the 360 Calendar the Six-Day War for Sinai and Jerusalem began on Pentecost, the anniversary of the “six days” of Moses on Mount Sinai.

When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from within the cloud… Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain. And he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. Ex. 24:15-18

Notice that both May 15, 1948, and June 5, 1967, overlap the anniversary of the “seven days” of Israel overwhelmed at the glory of God at Mt Sinai (3rd month, 5th day) with the “seven days” that Ezekiel was overwhelmed at the glory of God, (“4th month, 5th day”), (Ex. 24; Ezek. 1-4).

Egyptian Calendar, Lunar Calendar, 360 Calendar in combination

In the above snapshot, notice that on the “Ancient Egyptian Calendar”, May 14/15  was “1oth day of 1st month”, which equivalent anniversary is when Israel entered the Promised Land in 1406 BC, (Joshua 4:19). Egypt was first to attack, early May 15, 1948.

Moreover, from Ezekiel’s temple vision unto “10th day of 1st month” is 1260 + 1260 years to the very day, (573 BC to 1948 = 7 x 360 years). Compare Ezek. 40:1-3 with Rev. 11:1-3 !!! 

And to 1967 is seven lunar years: Eg., Iyar 26, 1967 unto Iyar 26, 1974 are 2539 days, the number of years from Ezekiel’s “ascension” temple-vision. 573 BC to 1967 are 2539 years, (Ezek 40:2).

On the tenth day of the first month the people went up from the Jordan and camped at Gilgal on the eastern border of Jericho. Josh 4:19

Seven Days = Seven Years = Seven Years of Years

Overwhelmed “seven days” by God’s glory (Ezek. 3:15-16), Ezekiel was then commanded to lay on his side ‘390 + 40 = 430 days’, “a day for every year”, (Ezek. 4). He made a model of Jerusalem and symbolically besieged it. Now it happens that exactly seven years later — a year for every day that he sat overwhelmed — the city did indeed fall. The people went into exile to Babylon (and Egypt) for 70 years.

Thus, from the symbolic and literal siege were 77 and 70 years until when the temple was rebuilt, (Zech. 1), (593/586 to 516 BC). God bore their sin, then forgave them, (Ezek. 4).

Is it not logical to assume that this pattern continues to the present? — Even unto these last days when Israel ceased to be “trodden down of the gentiles”?

Yes!

We know that 430 days symbolizes 430 years.

We know that the seven days that preceded Ezekiel’s 430 also symbolized seven years because precisely seven years elapsed from his seven days unto the fall of Jerusalem, 593 to 586 BC.

“A day is as a year,” (Ezek. 4; Dan. 9; Num. 14:34).

In seven years there are 7 x 365 days (2555 days). (Or 2539/2540 lunar.) Therefore, we must count 2555 YEARS as well as days, to be consistent.

Thus, we should anticipate important events related to Israel’s captivity in ‘seven times 365‘ YEARS after Ezekiel.

Footnote: "The Damascus Document" discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls begins by counting "390 years" ("a day for every year" as per Ezekiel 4), commencing the count from the fall of Jerusalem, with another 40-years remaining, (593-586 to 196/156 BC). We simply continue this pattern unto the present.

How many days in seven years?

A seven-year period can be counted in different ways, using either a lunar or solar calendar.

The lunar calendar has 2539/2540 (or 2570) days.

The solar has 7 x 365 = 2555 days. (This is the Ancient Egyptian Calendar method with no leap days.)

The Enoch Calendar has already been examined in great detail on 1260d.com. The Enoch Calendar has 364 days, which importantly is exactly 52 weeks. Optionally, every six years a leap week is added so that in seven years there are 2555 days, (7 x 364 = 2548, + 7 = 2555).

And then there is the 360-Calendar of 1260 + 1260 days. (If plus its leap month equals 2550 days, that is 1260 + 1290 days, Dan. 12, Rev. 11-12.) But as explained before, according to the Book of Enoch, the 360 Calendar is the 364 Calendar. It’s just that the extra four days are ignored at times.

So, which calendar should we use?

All of them!

All calendars work together in unison, each specializing but not contradicting or mixing.

Each pattern that emerges as it taps into the Ezekiel Code is astounding!

God is greater than our limitations!

In this post, we examine the Enochian 364 x 7 (and 365 x 7 if the leap week is included).

The lunar seven years is given as a brief footnote, only to demonstrate that it works equally well.

Footnote: Lunar Seven-Years
593 to 586 BC + 2540 YEARS (a day for each year), brings us to 1948 to 1955 -- to the very day that Israel became a nation. And 1967 is exactly +19 years later, but when the leap month of 30 days is added has the effect of -11, which ties into Ezekiel's exile 11 years before the fall of Jerusalem (597 & 586 BC).

Thus, 1967 recreates the same pattern that 1948 does, a second witness of God's sovereignty. Recall the importance of 597 BC in the Ezekiel Code. If a lunar leap month of 29 days instead (2539 days/years), then the end of the "390 days" that Ezekiel lay on his side comes together rather than the start of the "390 days"! (Ezek. 4).

The above footnote was just to prove that I have not chosen the Enochian Calendar here just because it ‘works’ (as if other calendars do not). They all ‘work’. I chose the Enochian Calendar because it reveals the jubilee system encoded within the events of 1948 and 1967, and jubilees are simple to comprehend.

Moreover, ‘seven times 364 years’ also equals 52 jubilees. The entire Enochian Calendar is based upon sevens (weeks) as they interact with the curse (13).

Ezekiel Code: 1948 & 1967

The Ezekiel Code forwarded the said “2548 days/years” and/or “2555 days/years” (I.e., Seven Enochian Years)

I will not explain these charts in detail. What was said already is enough to prove that God exquisitely timed the events of 1948 and 1967. These charts, however, show the depth of this timing.

Even the very hour becomes important, such as how the two hours of the signing of the Declaration of Independence from 2-4 pm, May 14, 1948, and the Arab-Israeli war that began 12 hours after correspond to the “Symbolic Day Year” (SDY) of the “30-days” mourning for both the deaths of Aaron and Moses. (Aaron died and was mourned in 1407 BC, “the fifth month” and Moses six months later in 1406 BC, “the eleventh month”. 1406 BC is the year when Israel entered the Promised Land and the jubilees officially commenced.

Footnote: One day equals one year (360 days). Therefore, on this ratio, every two hours equals 30 days (one month). Sunbreak (6 am) corresponds to the spring equinox, etc. Therefore, as seen on the chart, 2-4 pm on May 14, 1948, just happens to correspond to SDY 1407 BC, the 5th month, Num. 20:29; Deut. 34:8. Upon reading the “Ezekiel Code“, the following charts will become translucent. It may take a little pondering, but the faith-building reward is well worth the effort!

The below chart is a detailed explanation of the above. Pay attention to the sixty jubilees (49 x 60) that span from 1406 BC to AD 1535, or to AD 5555, which is 7000 years from the Exodus in 1446 BC. And so forth!

Supplemental: The Dead Sea Scrolls: Another thematic link back to Ezekiel

Our discussion would be incomplete without referencing an event almost as remarkable as the rebirth of Israel. It ran in parallel to the events of 1948 and 1967. It likewise links back to the seven-day call of Ezekiel and confirms our hypothesis.

Ezekiel is given a scroll to eat on that first day when called. Ezek. 1-3. The Book of Revelation picks up on this theme when it refers to the seven-sealed scroll of the Lamb (Rev. 4) and to a “little scroll”, (Rev. 10).

In 1947-1948 seven scrolls were discovered. They turned out to be the greatest discovery ever — the Dead Sea Scrolls. The scrolls left Israel to the United States the same day Israel became a nation.  Moreover, during the Six-Day War, the scrolls were fully recovered.

Thus, the sign of the Dead Sea Scrolls directly ties in with the seven-day call of Ezekiel that happened seven years before the city fell, and to the sign of the scroll of the  Lamb, “sealed with seven seals”.

The Book of Ezekiel itself was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, as well as other books, especially the Book of Enoch and details about his calendar (ie the Essenes Calendar).
